Activation step by step
Buy
- When the trial ends, the head unit shows «Trial period ended» with a QR code. During the trial you can open the same screen from Settings → «License» → «Activate».
- Scan that QR code with your phone's camera. This page opens with your head unit's device code already filled in.
- Enter your e-mail and tap «Get license». Telegram opens with a ready message (WhatsApp or e-mail if Telegram is not installed). Send it.
- Pay as agreed in the chat. You receive your license code; it starts with TWD1-. Copy it on your phone.
Activate on the head unit
- On the head unit, tap «Next». Two QR codes appear.
- Scan QR code 1, «Connect to Wi-Fi». Your phone joins the head unit's temporary Wi-Fi. If the phone says there is no internet, stay connected.
- Scan QR code 2, «Open the activation page». If it does not open, turn off mobile data for a moment and scan again.
- Paste the code and tap «Send». The head unit shows «TwinDash activated.» and closes the screen. Done.

Which cars does it work in?
Cars with an Android head unit: Chinese cars without factory CarPlay and Android Auto (BYD, Changan, Chery, Geely, Jetour and others) and aftermarket Android head units. Android 10 or newer is required.
How does the trial work?
After installing, TwinDash works with every feature for 72 hours. When the trial ends, the head unit shows a QR code for buying a license.
How many devices does a license cover?
